What is Coto Academy’s Winter Kids Course?

Coto Academy’s Winter Kids Course is a Japanese program designed specifically for children looking to start or continue learning Japanese over the winter break. The course focuses on learning through fun activities, field trips, and DIY projects.

The program is flexible. Families can choose to take 1, 2, or 3 weeks. 

What’s a Typical Schedule Like?

Coto Academy’s kids courses are designed to balance learning with fun. During the week, students engage in a mix of traditional lessons focused on grammar and conversation. Thursday is dedicated to a showcase and activity day, giving children a chance to apply what they’ve learned in creative ways. Fridays feature field trips that connect lessons to real-world culture and broaden their horizons.

The courses are led by carefully selected, experienced teachers who are specially trained to work with young learners. Ensuring students’ safety and comfort is the top priority, so children can learn confidently in a supportive environment.

Coto Academy’s Winter Kids Course runs for three weeks, but full attendance isn’t required. Families can choose the weeks that fit their schedule. T

Each session has an even mix of these four skills through an “interweaving” learning approach. This lets your child keep their brain active and retain more knowledge through interrelated skills practice.
