After graduating from university Haruko experienced working as a cram school teacher. While there she was part of establishing a children’s English language classroom – Haruko was fascinated by the fun of teaching and decided to become a Japanese language teacher.
Haruko joined the predecessor of Coto, and she is now a veteran instructor with the longest working history at Coto. With her high academic ability backed by her abundant knowledge and experience, she teaches a wide range of classes from beginner to advanced, and she has formed great teaching relationships with students of all levels.
A message from Haruko / Her philosophy
My obsession is “Fun Japanese”. I want all learners to enjoy studying Japanese. I think different people have different ideas of what they find “fun” about learning Japanese. For example – some students could say – “I enjoy it because the class is fun!”, or “It’s fun to pass the exam and feel confident!”, “It’s fun to be able to read kanji!”, “It’s fun to be able to go shopping in Japanese!”, “It’s fun to understand the news in Japanese!”
It takes time to learn Japanese, but we will support you so that each and every student can achieve “Fun!” as soon as possible.
