After working in the PR department of an apparel brand, Yoshiko went to France with a working holiday visa. She eventually got married and became a French language teacher for Japanese people in the local area. After six years, however, Yoshiko decided to return to Japan. She gained professional experience in trade affairs for a short while before she joined Coto in 2021 as one of our coordinators.
Yoshiko’s Message and Personal Philosophy
It’s no exaggeration to say that learning the local language is the one main thing that determines the comfort of your stay in a new country. It’s the best way to understand both its people and culture. I know that when I was living abroad.
At Coto, I want to help international people in Japan lead comfortable life through learning the Japanese language too — to let them have a deeper understanding of the Japanese people and culture. With that, I look forward to seeing you with us.
