Coto Club: September 2025 Course Update
While summer often has us seeking refuge indoors, September in Tokyo brings crisp, refreshing air. If you’re looking forward to autumn and the momiji (autumn leaves), take this as a sign to start focusing on your Japanese studies.
This September, Coto Academy Minato is hosting a few part-time and Lite Intensive Japanese courses, perfect for busy learners looking to improve without overwhelming their schedules. These include beginner-friendly options and classes designed for continuing learners.
New & Ongoing Courses Starting This September
Lite Intensive Course Beginner 1
- Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays
- Time: 19:10–21:00
Perfect for total beginners, our Lite Intensive Course Beginner 1 offers the solid structure of an intensive program with the flexibility of a part-time schedule.
The course is in the evenings, so it’s ideal for working professionals who want to fit language study into their busy lives after work. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to hold simple conversations about past and future events using basic Japanese verbs and adjectives.
Japanese Crash Course
- Schedule: Weekdays
- Time: 9:10–11:00 or 11:10–13:00
Make your first steps in the Japanese language natural and stress-free. Our Crash Course is specially designed for absolute beginners who have never studied Japanese before, ideal for new Tokyo residents looking to gain confidence quickly.
We keep our class sizes small so every student gets the attention they need to grow. Our native instructors focus on practical conversation skills in a relaxed setting.
Lite Intensive Course Advanced 1 (Ongoing Class)
- Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays
- Time: 19:10–21:00
An ongoing class that you can join mid-way and start as early as next week. Designed for upper-intermediate learners, this advanced course is ideal for those who already have a strong foundation in Japanese and are ready to take their skills to the next level.
What Is Lite Intensive Course?
Our Lite Intensive Course follows the same trusted curriculum as Coto Academy’s popular Intensive Course, but is held on a part-time schedule.
You’ll cover all aspects of the language, from speaking and listening to reading and writing, in a format that’s designed to fit into your life.
